What program do you plan on scripting it in?
Like I said in the first post, it's C#. I don't wanna force myself too much though, and might only limit myself to GDL drawing (which means no DirectX).
For now though, Visual Novel seems easier, but I need a plot (already done) and a graphics designer for it. Danmaku seems harder (I need to know a lot, from differential calculus to combo making) but the graphics is a hell lot easier to do. I still need someone to do the graphics though lol.
But if ever a danmaku (bullet hell) I will do it will be...super hard. seriously.
For one:
(1) There are 15 stages. 1 Difficulty (which is Easy, Normal, Hard, and Insane together) .
(2) There will be different characters (imagine Touhou), which will have their own BGM. Each character will have different skills. Even the character you will use. Skills have charge bars, anyway. To use them, you use a directional button + X. Also, not using skills and not dying = getting access to harder spells = more score, eh?
(3) It will have Visual Novel elements, which mean clearing the hardest spell enables you to get the better ending.
(4) Normal danmaku rules. Every bullet (thing) has a hitbox. You yourself have a hitbox (1 pixel, actually). Here's the catch: like Touhou, there's a Focus mode. (which of course enables a focused attack). If bullets pass you without hitting your hitbox, it's called grazing.

(5) These are special rules:
a. You will have a Soul Gem Limit Bar. This bar will be from 100,000 Points (this is the max) from the start of the game. Every time you graze, 1 Point will be deducted. Using a skill (even ultimate skills) will deduct 10 Points. Everytime you die at unfocused mode, it's 1,000 Points. If you die at focused mode, you lose all your points. If you lose your points, you will not be able to continue at all and have to start from scratch. No worries though, you will get 10,000 Points if you clear the last skill of any boss.
