There is a build which one always pushes enemy back and it is now also have an badass sword. Sword is pushing back; this is funny bcause it is not a hammer or something afterall.
There have been suggestions to implement hammers, axes, maces and other similar weapons into the game.
Since SuperMechs are still in Beta state, it's common that game is evolving as time passes on.

And all energy weapons drains energy and all other weapons requires heat and they heats enemy or just deals damage. And drones suck or own energy and heat but they are not a part of our robot. Maybe if they decreases our hp its will be more realistic bcause they are a system installed on mech but they are not a part of mech but they can still heats our mech.
Ever heard of wireless technology?
Since drones in SuperMechs doesn't contain their own powersource (for producing and holding energy) nor heat dispencer (for storing generated heat), they transfer energy/heat between themselves and your mech. That also applies to bullets and rockets drones may fire.
Though, leech tehnology isn't implemented in the game (even though there have been a suggestion about it), therefore i don't see any way why drone would consume your HP in order to fire.

And everything always consumes same energy and heat and overheats enemy same amount. That digits must be random for more fun and nothing can be always same in universe.
In real world, it is a probablility that (for example) energy weapon doesn't consume exactly the same amout of energy after each shot. But SuperMechs isn't a simulation to a real world. It is an arcade game with it's own, completely separate, physical laws.
So, how can you possibly expect to get the same result in the arcade game as it would be in the real world?

And what about breaking enemies parts. Destroy their weapon, criple their legs and force them waste their turns for repairing and give them penalties for criples; maybe decrease their damage or regneration.
The Alpha version of SuperMechs (named as BattleMechs) did contain your described criple feature. Though, that feature was removed in Beta version. Why? Not sure, but i belive the devs decided it's better this way.
Btw, you can play SuperMechs Alpha version from here:
http://www.battlemechs.net/.
And as far as SuperMechs goes, it's up to you to decide if you find it amusing enough and worth your while to continue to play it or not.
