Once one mech is downed, the next one could pop up in its place. You win when you take out all of your opponent's mechs, not just one.

This has been suggested before, only problem is it could create very long matches (e.g each mech survives 15 rounds, that's 45 rounds. Drone battles are worse, average 30 rounds a mech, that's a 90 round match, and I'm don't think anyone likes those drone battles anyway. :lol:
