What do you think about a ground pounding earthquake weapon that takes up two weapons slots like the piledrivers used by Rumble from the Transformers series. Proposed weapon would have unlimited range & generate massive damage while completely depleting energy from both players & causing shield failure/overheating.

I don't have an issue with an earthquake weapon, but what you have it as right now sounds way to powerful.

Maybe make the weapon weaker the farther away a player is from it ( kind of like real life earthquakes). Also, I don't think having it take all the energy away from both players is a good idea too.

Just my thoughts anyways. :)

I like the idea of creating more damage near the epicenter Nick!

The idea behind the ultra powerful weapon with infinite range would be to:

1. render both mechs powerless
2. force energy & heat shield failure (modules & kits would still be active)
3. disable teleport & harpoon capability
4. leave only physical & explosive weapons useable for two turns.

I think what you should stick to is a piledriver weapon that makes an earth quake attack thing.. As the root or your idea.. Or else people are going to vote no not because they don't want it but because of the specifications they don't like.. Regardless yes from me:)

The middle/lower levels of the game have become boring, calculated, slow, expensive "module, shield & kit" matches. My idea gives a new twist to range fighting & renders impenetrable shields useless for two turns.
