If you put the One Barrel BB Gun on the other hand of your mech than the tutorial tells you to. You can't play the game b/c later in the tutorial it will tell you to put on the machine gun which takes off the One Barrel BB Gun and once you replace it you can't put on the BB Gun again which you need to have on to progress.
