Well, I've tried everything I can to play this game since I've started using satellite for my connection (last few weeks), and it looks like I will not be able to play from home. I get the "Server is currently under maintenance" error every time I try to play.

I have been playing since 2010 (and a bit earlier under different names) and I've estimated that I've spent over $500 on BattleDawn during this time. It has been fun, but it looks like BD is going to lose a good paying player.

I've tried every suggestion.. I've done a clean install of Firefox so I know it's not a cache issue. I've updated Flash. I've tried it on Chrome as well. The only difference from when I could log in from a cable connection to my new satellite connection is the ping rate. The ping rate now is over 600.

It seems like I'd still be able to play BD at the ping rate as I can play Path of Exile in multiplayer mode without a problem.

So, anyway, I guess I'm done with BD since I am unable to play from home anymore. I might go into "just watching" mode later on, though.

i think your connection is unstable so sometimes u get disconnected for few seconds and then connected again that makes BD says server is under maintenance

u have to relog every time it happens right?

Thank you for your response. Yes, I've tried reloading 2 or 3 times in a row. I will say that only once was I able to play very late at night, but haven't been able to recreate it.

I think there must be a governor in the BD software that recognizes when a Ping is too high and just won't let me in.

the online games should work when the ping is low ( lower than 100 ) cuz if it was higher it will cause lag or the server will kick u in that case u need to lower ur ping

i dont think that the problem is from the server so i think u will need to contact ur internet service provider to improve the quality of ur signal

As I mentioned in my first post, the ping is over 600ms.

There is nothing I can do or the provider can do about the ping rate because it is from a satellite. My download speed is over 20mbps though, so that is extremely high, it's just that my Ping rate can't be changed since the satellite is 23000 miles in the sky.

Or maybe you are asking what Ping means.. It is the delay time of signal or messages sent to and from the provider or satellite. In my case, it would be close to a 1 second delay.

and about the 600 ping sorry i dont know how to help u if the provider himself couldnt help u but there must be something can be done about this and i dont know it
