Upon hearing the changes , I was really pissed off. 750 Blues for 2nd place? , How do u expect blue boosters to compete with hardcore red boosters? Beforehand , it was plausible and only required a few wins to gain a sizeable amount of blues , but now it would take forever to stockpile blues.

Can someone explain the changes?

You can make a lot more blues now because of the survey system.

I'd also like to note that you do not need blues to compete - you need activity. If you have that, the rest will be fine.

First place still gets the same amount of tokens as before so if you play for the win, you'll get plenty of tokens anyway. :)

Mostafa where were you when were fighting for this? U waking up too early?

Alex your explanation is valid for the argument of why voting was removed , and plz , survey is not available in every country.

And i agree with activity point but this is not valid everytime. Boosters too can be highly active.

Can you blame them? There are fewer players than before, and thus less boosting. If BD administration continue to support a large pool of blues, then they don't get money. And frankly, I would rather have the game exist than have a larger pool of blues. Just a thought. And activity is almost a sure way to take top 20 with experience; you get more conquers, crystals, res ops, wreckages, and ufos.

I've done multiple surveys and none have ever given me any tokens.

Well to be honest to get ahead all you really need is a good start.

I find blue tokens to be a little redundant after 400 or so ticks when your armies cost so much that metal boost doesn't really make sense.
If you've got a good alliance that's active and takes mines and crystals you really won't need more than a 1000 tokens at the start of the era to reach a top ten position
