Hello, people. I'm really into this game, and I want to find some weapons that do a lot of damage without generating a lot of heat. Could someone please recommend a weapon or two?

That depends on your level/the level range you wish to fight at.

How about 30? I'm not there yet, but I will be if I keep playing this game.

In level 30 (and in any level in that matter), energy weapons rarely use heat to fire while they do the same amount of damage as their heat counterparts.

For max damage, you can go with physical weapons since those do the most damage and few of them doesn't use energy or heat at all.
E.g. Iron Shredder (lvl 28) & Demolisher Mark 3 (lvl 30).

But it all depends on your play style and what type of build are you using (heat, energy, physical or mixed).
