The old generation use to copy mech builds just as much xD There was just more diversity between the builds available as there were more levels to fight at and parts were easier to obtain.

Everyone use to copy the Lucifer build at the lowest level. Again, a lot of people use to copy the shielded build, with a few tweaks here and there but always very similar.

As for when you changed over the damage build to an energy/damage build on the new generation, the same happened on the older generation. An energy build was created with the Lucifer that could beat the current strongest mech build and everyone ran to copy it. It was only when they found out that kits ruined the build did they go back to the original build.

As for the energy build you created now, I've seen many like this before since the start of the new generation. Without kits, yes it's difficult to beat (but no impossible). However with an energy kit, it's not that difficult to take down as the deep drain is limited to two shots.

I would like to see the replay where you beat j6, because for a long time I've considered him to be the strongest a level 15.

That being said, I have to take issue with some of your comments.

"level 15-16" so you mean 16? It's one or the other, and I'm guessing it's 16 because that's when you can use the pretty overpowered energy drain weapon. You can also use the level 16 drones which are quite strong. j6, gladiatus, spula, krabrak, mechzilla, princesszoey are all 15 so already you have a significant advantage.

"Lucifer built" isn't original. It's the torso nearly everyone uses. I guess it's slightly better than a gladiator although I don't see a big difference in the stats. By the way, 'eagle eye' is also a very good torso, if you're willing to use a lot of kits. You have 5 kit slots instead of 3 (for lucifer or gladiator), which is a big advantage. For example, Omni uses it to good effect with an energy build.

When you say "a new physical/energy build" I'm guessing you mean 2 energy drainers and 2 either lasers or yelloworms for side weapons. None of that is particularly original, many many people have tried it and many currently use it. For example, 666 uses that build and I also use a similar build (and no, I didn't copy it from anyone).

Going through the top level 15s I know about:

Now let me say that j6 experimented a lot with builds before he landed on the one he has. He was the 1st I saw use it. Although it may not be most effective, it's still very good and one he more or less created.

Gladiatus did copy him, exactly.

Krabrak uses a build j6 used to have. I'm not sure who came up with it 1st.

Spula uses a completely different build than anyone else almost entirely relying on bullets, but he made it very effective.

Mechzilla is also absolutely original with a 2 sword build.

PrincessZoey uses a heat based build I haven't seen many other people with.

All of these guys (with the exception of gladiatus) use different builds and get good results with them.

So where is the problem with originality?... because I don't see it.

"now all u thiefs have stolen it"

I don't think the build you "created" is your intellectual property. You can't prove anyone else copied it from you instead of thinking it up themselves, and most likely someone had the build before you thought it up.

And deep drains combined with yelloworms or lasers is hardly the most inventive thing ever. Combining overpowered damage and energy draining weapons - more or less obvious if you play a level 16.

Now let me take a minute to brag about a small recent accomplishment of mine. I'm not very good at level 15 and I'm only okay-ish at 18, but I've had very good results at 30.

In the past everyone was going crazy over the heat build with 4 drainers or 5 drainers and a sword. It was all the rage, but I got bored with it and changed to:

Image

And in the last 3 weeks I got 1st 3rd and 2nd respectively with this, also briefly reaching 50,000 points. Nobody could understand why my average looking mech could beat nearly everyone consistently.

But I couldn't beat dany2014 like that....

So I thought up a strange build, and this is what happened:

Image

That was in a kit fight. He used resistance kit, hp kit, cooling kit, energy kit and I used only resistance and hp kit. And that was with my only weapon (legs) at 0 fusion. So you see, you can beat anything with a bit of originality. Every build is vulnerable, even ones which people think are invincible. You just have to think outside the box.

I never see j6 around. I'm not questioning whether or not you beat him, I just would like to see how.

If niko comes back, I look forward to fighting him. I don't see how his return would stop me from being "strong".

It's easier to fix the problem by going to 15 rather than going closer to 18. At 17 you're gonna be facing level 18s all the time.

I never said 666 could beat you, and calm down please.

For something to be original, first off it has to be new. I don't think you can prove you were the 1st to use the build you use (to be honest, I'm not even sure what your build is).

I never discussed who is "stronger". You may be stronger, I don't know. Your 1st post wasn't about who is strongest, it was about how people lack originality and only copy others. I proved you wrong by showing that j6, krabrak, spula, mechzilla, princesszoey, sleepingbunny and omni all have different builds and achieve success with their build.

3 weeks ago j6 had the same pure physical build with an energy drone. So did spula - pure physical with lots of bullets. princesszoey, mechzilla and sleepingbunny have been heat/physical for a lot longer than 3 weeks but they all do it a bit differently.

And everyone did not and does not have the same build.

Something I don't understand with 666. The weekly tournament restarted last night, so most players are back to 1000 points. In one day he's up to 11,000 points.

Image

This is me beating someone with around 1000 points, and I get 31 points for it at level 16. If you take that as the average points per game won on 666 (since the tournament has just restarted most player are around 1000 points) he would need 344 wins, without a loss, to reach where he is at now.

(11000-1000)/31=322 calculation.

I know this will be a bit off, but it will be close to that value. However 666 already won last weeks tournament, so he must already have quite a lot of wins from them and he's only at 492 wins. This means leveling up and his winnings from last week were only around 170 wins... something to me doesn't quite add up.
