So I was studdying these two rare drones, but it seems that Flipmix is better than Jimbeam but its lower level...

I will list their stats:

JimBeam
28-32 damage
30 avg. damage
10 energy damage
15 energy cost per turn

Flipix
20-32 damage
26 avg. damage

10 heat damage
8 energy cost per turn

To prove why flipmix is better, it has half the energy cost of JimBeam, is cheaper in the store, and does heat damage which is better than energy damage (if the number is equivilent) and has the same maximun damage amount as JimBeam.

I suggest increasing Jimbeam's energy damage amount or reguar maximun damage, or reducing its cost.
I think Jimbeam wasn't one of the drones that needed a damage cut, 35-40 was an appropriate amount to deal, even increasing it up to 30-35 or 32-36 would be fine, otherwise decreasing it's energy requiring amount to 10 or 5.

JimBeam would be more useful if it was actually the energy variant of Flipmix. Like 8 energy cost, for 10 energy damage. I'm not sure how I feel about upping damage since JimBeam already has a better damage avg over flips
But I agree, I used it and found it not worth the investment of an extra 7 Energy (which at the bracket that Jim is used at can be significant) and not even putting pressure on heat which is the invaluable part that makes Flip so attractive.

It's like paying more for the an increase in damage (hoping you don't accidentally use too much of your own energy firing the weapon and thus lose out on a whole turn of JimBeam), but lacks completely any sort of heat pressure which can whittle down most mechs in the bracket that flip gets used in.

Yes exactly. You pay more to deal a tiny 4 avg. damage and a 7 energy cost increasement. Heat damage is equally valued as energy damage as well.
