So yeah.... Resistance kits are very powerful! Since the drainer nerf not many builds can destroy this armored beast.

Possible ideas for nerfing (resistance) kits.

Can't use Resistance kit when player already has a resistance module.
or
Can't use more than 1 type of Resistance Kit(Can only equip one type of resistance kit. Makes the Multi-resistance kit valuable!)
or
Increase the weight of the kits so no more than 1 or 2 can be used w/o sacrificing overall performance of the mech. Maybe 2x or 1.5x more than it currently is.
or
Rebuff Drainers
maybe a new pure drain weapon that allows for repeat draining. such as -4 or -5 everytime per use and induces electric/heat usage.

What are your argument for Resistance kits?

I don't mean to eliminate them but rather to reduce highly-adaptability nature kits have. We don't need build revolving around Kits every mech battle. Very bad for Meta-game.

If you meet a person who has kits of all 3 types of resistance, It's impossible to be prepared for that. The only way to get around it is having kits yourself to level the playing field. <<< I don't like this thinking as it revolves around kits.

If you can come up with a Physical, Electric, and Heat build that can respectively beat super armored Resistance of it's type (w/o kits) Lemme know. =D

hello everyone,

I think resistance kits are overwhelming the first ranks of this game.

for me this game is not so far from chess...but the resistance kit must have more weight. 37kg for the best...55KG would be nice to prevent using all resistance kits in a battle.

most of top players using 3 drainers, a grenade launcher and what about other weapons? nothing.

me too since few days i abuse of resistance kits...i am doing like this because I think i will disgust players ( I know its bad...) and then thinks perhaps will change.

They attempted a "nerf" by increasing costs to purchase resistance kit but it does not really affect anything. Noone really buys resistance kits. Kits are won by getting them by item boxes. A "nerf" would be one that actually affects gameplay mechanics or overall strategy. Cause right now, the strategy to win is just pop on high resistance and a Resistance kit. Invalidates alot of strategies immediately and even a few weapons in the game.

Most Physical weapons obtainable in item boxes deal no damage,

Drones are useless unless they add heat or drain energy. (base damage is severely lowered)

Most weapon that have a low base damage are now ineffective.
(Excluding mythicals as only a few top clans can get those)

In the test client there is tiles which does ignore resistance but that tile will not show up every battle. I appreciate this idea but it's not gonna solve the issue over a long-term.

My Points
-Keep kits but fix them
-Allow Strategy to permeate again and ensure combat is fun and not boring.
