Just a little safety when using the cancel button. When you're matched up against another mech, give a 3 second countdown next to the cancel button. In this space you can still cancel the fight up to one second then it locks you in to battle. This way you can't cancel a fight right as your put in to one as this gives you a loss and disconnects you from the game.
