This idea is simple, you craft an item of the same tier by destroying items of that tier for a chance at an unowned item with exp costs. Or you can craft items of higher tier by collecting enough items of previous tier. Items that count towards craft are torsos,legs, weapons, and modules.
You must use items of the same type.
4x Weapons=1x Weapon
4x Modules=1x Module
Examples of Crafting Recipes: 1,000,000 Experience 4 Mythical:1 Mythical(100% Chance you don't own) 250,000 Experience 4 Mythical:1 Mythical(50% Chance you don't own) 100,000 Experience 16 Legendaries:1 Mythical(10% Chance you don't own) 50,000 Experience 4 Legendaries:1 Legendary(100% Chance you don't own) 10,000 Experience 16 Epic:1 Legendary(10% Chance you don't own)
Values can be tweaked to be fair.
The idea is to provide people additional "sure" ways of obtaining items for the trade of gameplay time. (Experience)
It's also a great way to get people play on their veteran accounts more so new accounts. Also, my experience is just accumulating and as much as it cool to see it go to 17 Million, there's practically no purpose to accumulating exp since I'm capped at rank/level 30.
