good idea! they should also include collectable parts able to be obtained in campaign to create those items.

I also do like the idea,,,however I do not understand that why the shop was removed in the first place......0_0.... Now we can not obtain low level items, to complement the sometimes occuring weight -gap... (for example I would need two level 1 leg one of 9 weight the other 10, and i have no chance to get it, because i am level 30, and those boxes dont yield items below level 15......)

I like the idea of burning duplicates and garbage parts to build parts that you need - but it can't be cheap. I remember that when I bought my first competitive torso from the old shop, it cost me upwards of 80k SM. I got what I wanted at the time, and now it is obsolete, but for like 10 ranks it was totally worth the victory curve.
I would like to add the idea of a picture book. Since we no longer have the original shop with the checkmarks, we should still have some kind of catalog. If the developers choose, parts can be secret until they have been owned/viewed before. If you want a part that is in the catalog but you no longer own or do not have enough copies of, you would "attempt to create part" sort of like how we craft durability mythics right now.
The end result could be a percentage chance of success, and/or a percentage chance of having X durability, or something that causes diminishing returns. The whole point is that if you get the part you want, you earned it and it cost you, and if you don't get the part, you can always try again. This increases farming and/or frustration that leads to Token Purchasing. They could even introduce a new item to the Token shop that increases the likelihood of crafting nonmythicals from the catalog - and of course the cheaper it is, the more likely to get your average frustrated consumer to spend that first quid.
Seriously, I would totally put in peanuts on a customized legendary/epic build rather than shelling out for a few mythicals and never getting what I want.
