get to know more ppl, let them know that u want to learn new stuffs, don't pretend that u know everything.

You can apply for a mentor in the 'Adopt a Newb Center' to be taught how to become better at the game.

One of the biggest things in this game is activity, the more active you are the better. When good players see active players even when they are new they are more likely to help them. As Aister said though be hungry to learn and take what other people have to tell you, do not come in thinking you know the game and how it works. We have many secrets and strategies.
