oh :P I never really noticed how much xp I was getting after hitting level 30. Forgot they carried on with the xp.. my bad xD

Sounds like a little encouragement, if you will (from the game), to play at higher levels. It might also be thought of as "protection" for the newer players to the detriment of the more established players...
