Hey everyone.

I logged in today to find out that they had implemented colors for fusion core. I was so happy until I saw that they require red tokens to buy. I personally am against this because the developers are obviously using this as a way to get more money, but it shouldn't be this way.

I propose it be like legendary and epic items, that you can find them spread around boxes even at higher levels. We can make it so that some of the cheaper colors are found at regular or rare tiers, and colors like black can be found legendary.

How do you propose progress and maintenance be kept up on a game if it draws no money? I'd think you would prefer something like this costing than some insanely good piece of gear. This is aesthetic and does not hurt game play but can still help support it as well as allow the devs to continue to make changes. I can see both sides of this though, some might want colors in boxes but some might not care about colors at all. Imagine the frustration when you finally get your 1% chance at a legendary item and it is a color. Just my opinion in this but I am a bit surprised by your reaction to it.

I have to agree with Korupt, aesthetic changes is a good way to get money from people, as showing off is another aspect of competitions a game can include.

Now we can create the "miss mech" contest, choosing the most beatiful looking mech.

When fusion colors came, i wondered if they were included into item boxes or not. Apparently not, but when taking into consideration that fusion colors are Epic items then i'd rather take Epic item than Epic color when buying item boxes. So, my vote here will be No.

Oh, rather than making a new topic about mech colors, i'll ask it in this topic.
If certain color is applied to an item (e.g. green) and if that item's power level is increased by fusion, does the previously applied color stay the same or the item gets recolored according to the default color of it's power level?

The color should trump the fusion level.

Yup, the previously applied color did stay the same after increasing item's power level. :D

I actually disagree with having the colors at all. I liked it better when the colors stood for power and ranking with weapons. I will personally never use colors, ill fuse my own red and blacks. :)

That's true but there is no harm in allowing players to make their mech aesthetically pleasing. It also provides a way to support the game without ruining the game play by allowing people to "pay to win".

While I would really like to paint my mech, I always am a sucker for such aesthetic customisation features, I understand why it's unobtainable without paying real money.

It doesn't provide any advantage in combat, so it's a good option for gaining these few extra $'s.
