good idea except for one thing you can only buy items boxes at your level or lower levels because if you are lower level item boxes cost much less meaning that a low level pays only 4k for a level 30 box when a level 30 has to pay 12k for a box so you can only buy boxes that are your level or lower UNLESS you make the low levels pay 12k for a L30 box in this case i like your idea

Another main reason for this is because the goal of the devs is to have everyone playing at their own level. If a level 30 had access to items of lower levels, then more level 30s would be playing at that lower level then at level 30.

Besides, the only items that you cant get except through boxes are Legendary, so if it is something you want from a lower level... buy it straight up in the store with full CR amount, and/or purchase tokens to get the Epics. If there is a Legendary weapon you want, slow down your leveling or buy Gold boxes for a better chance before you get out of range.

That being said, if they made boxes available to upper levels, what would be the purpose of buying tokens... remember, they still need to make money above all else to keep the game going.

I assume what you mean is that by equipping lower level gear a level 30 will be matched against lower levels. The solution is to make it impossible to match a player with someone 3 or more levels lower (or whatever is appropriate).

Close...

Currently as is... no matter what your level is, you are only matched up according to the highest leveled item you have on your Mech to include specials, mods, and kits. You are not matched to your "personal level"

ex. i am a level 27... the highest piece on my Mech is an 18, i have fought Mechs from 16-22. I do not plan to leave the level 18ish range untill i hit level 30.

It doesn't make much sense to me that these items aren't available to a capped player. In my case, I leveled too quickly to be able to obtain these and other items from boxes, and now I'm unable to because the only box at my disposal gives level 28-30 items only.

Also remember you don't have to only buy boxes, you can always straight up buy the item for full amount.

This has been talked about countless times and it still remains a solid no.
