Current situation with resistance kits is ridiculous:
- Given roughly similar equipment, mech without resistance kit has no chances against mech with resistance kit.
- Non-premium players can't afford them even if they win every battle (3000 for resistance kit, 2500 reward for victory).
This creates a lot of frustration on one side and guilt on the other. Some people even quit the battle immediately when they see their opponent use the kit!

On the other hand, health kits are not so unfair: there is +90 kit for 1300, and +110 kit for 2900 (and even +120 kit for 3T). Why won't we use the same scheme with resist kits?

For example, what if we introduce +18 resist kits for 1300? Of course, people who aim for top 3 in weekly tournaments will use the most expensive kits anyway, but non-premium players equiped with +18 kits will have a lot more chances against them. I think, this will make the game more interesting both for premium and non-premium users.

I personally don't think they are overpriced and it is part of the strategy. You have to know if it is worth it to use the kit or not. I feel bad when I watch people that are certain to lose pop a kit only to still die the next turn but it can't be helped.

Using Resistance Kits are a huge part of my strategy and with the way I play I can use one kit a game, win, buy another, and still profit over $1000. You gotta budget yourself and decide if +18 for $3000 is worth it over +16 for $1700. Repair kits are cheaper because they are more commonly bought. Think of it like an economy. If a lot of people buy a certain item it is going to be cheaper. If an item is less commonly demanded then the price is going to be higher.

I have spoken to most of the top players and I'm in the top 20 right now. We don't all use the highest resistance kit. In fact, I'm yet to meet one who does.

I don't find resistance kits expensive. You don't have to use them in every battle but against an opponent who you think beats you without your kit.

You can always buy some tokens (while supporting the game) and buy Premium Account. 2x IGC per match, it helps a lot if you use kits in every match.


Here's your chance to meet a player who uses the best resistance kits in his game, it's me.
I don't do PvP battles for IGC but for ladder points. If i want IGC, i'll battle with NPCs. So, i can affoard to use the best kits out there.

Actually, in lvl30 area (where i fight), players either don't use resistance kits at all or when they do, it's the best kit. I've only seen 2 times when players used other than +25 resistance kit. One time someone used +16 kit and another one used +12 to all kit.

Since there are resistance drainer weapons in lvl30 range (-10 or -12 resistance drain per shot), using a resistance kit is basically a must, unless you want to be slaughtered.

I do disagree with comments here. Kits ARE expensive. My SM is always 0 as I'm forced to continuously buy boxes to stay competitive with the other players and never have any chance to spend SM on kits...

And the kits from the boxes... well they are too rare and random and always higher than my level so I can't get used on including them in a long time strategy.

And how about the slap on the face? When you start a battle, use a kit and the other player just leaves the game and you wasted a kit without getting the money from reward back since it's first turn.

So if I focus on buying kits, I will end up leveling up undergeared and then even kits won't save me.

kits are for noobs that cant win with the solid build they have conducted. i say make kits cost 100k coins a piece

I disagree. Kits are for people who build their mech to be able to best use every option at their disposal, which includes kits. If you don't like kits take it up with the devs, not the players.

CaptainDuck i get what you`re trying to say but I myself never buy resistance kits since the only thing i buy are item boxes and trust me those item boxes are full of kits so you don't need to manually purchase them unless you really want to.

no it's just sad when you see people that cant win without kits. anyway im not taking it up to anyone, i dont play anymore because the quality of players got lower. and the game quality itself
