Hi,

I have an idea of a new type of weapon: the Drill. This weapon can only be used at 1 range and only 2 uses per battle, but it does a lot of damage and resistance drain. There are three types. Here are the stats:

Reinforced Drill
Level 30, Legendary
1 Range
90-105 Physical Damage
4 Physical Resistance Drain
2 Uses Per Battle
+15 Heat and -10 Energy Per Use
70 Weight

Heat Drill
Level 30, Legendary
1 Range
80-95 Explosive Damage
+20 Heat Damage
4 Explosive Resistance Drain
2 Uses Per Battle
+25 Heat and -10 Energy Per Use
80 Weight

Electric Drill
Level 30, Legendary
1 Range
80-95 Electric Damage
-20 Energy Damage
4 Explosive Resistance Drain
2 Uses Per Battle
+10 Heat and -25 Energy Per Use
80 Weight

Good idea? :)

Nope,

They have designed their weapons so that they work well now, The skill is working out the right combination to win!

Hi,

Yes, maybe weapons work well now, but I think there should be more melee weapons. At the moment it's just swords and flamethrowers, but the drill would be a high damage and resistance-draining weapon. It deals no knockback, does high damage and is melee. The only other level 30 weapons that fit this category are Call Of Lightning and some physical bullet-ammo weapons. This weapon has a physical, heat and electric variants and consumes no ammunition. It does more damage than stomp. This is balanced with the 2 uses per battle. And about 'working out the right combination to win', new weapons introduce new combinations, especially at melee range, where there are not many no-knockback, high damage and non-ammunition consuming weapons available to use.
