The matchmaking is really laughable!

It's a punishment to become rank 3 or higher as a usual player. Once you get in this ranks you have to fight mechs with mythical items while you have none and will never get one.

This isn't fair. What should a usual new starting player do to win against such a mech? And don't say "You can get three mythcals with gold boxes due giftcodes".

I've got my three boxes and no mythical, just random (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) and kits!

The mythicals really destroy what is left of balance in this game.

Something must be done.

I have some suggestions:

1)
One mythical is't such a big Problem.
So limit the mythical items to one per mech.

It's still a reward for the lucky guy who has one, and not too much overpowered to handle for the other players.

or

2)
It's time for a new rank.
Rank Zero!
You can only become rank zero if you have at least two mythical items on your mech. Once you are at rank zero you can only fight other players who must be rank zero, too.

Be honest: Players with more than one mythical are out of the league. So let them have their fun with other mythicak abusers and don't force casual players to loose against them.

That sounds like a really cool idea.

Mythicals are a big problem in this game. They are so unbalanced and many players abuse them by overuse.
I got two mythical items. Only one is used on my physic mech, (sword) but this mech is only used in non-ladder-fights just for fun.
The other is a rocket launcher that does'nt fit to the rest of my konfiguration.
This two were the only mythical items that I earned out of 17 (!!!) gold-boxes!

And I'm forced to fight guys that uses up to 7 mythical items on one mech.
(And that were only the items I could see. I don't know how many mythical modules were used, too.)

Limit mythicals to one per mech could solve the problem.

I agree on mythicals being broken. haha. +10 on these or a torso and you will win most of the time.

Maybe you could add ranks based on how many winstreaks after rank 1.



Say Rank S = 5 win streak. You will fight other Rank S and Rank SS after none can be found.

Rank SS = 10 win streak. Fight SS and S*

Rank S* = winstreak over 11+ Matched with only S* and SS.

This setup easily sorts good players and immediately pits them against potential threats.

More Ranks would solve the problem though.

To motivate people to get into higher ranks, maybe you could add bonus SM for breaking a streak. (No bonus for continued streaks.)

yea its hard to beat a mythical but mythical weapons have more weight i know your feeling i was in a time like yours

Yea a super 0 level is a good idea

but if its mythical vs mythical continues we wont receive much fights
all what i can say is make an idol like cpt.kill player and try to make wins form a good clan then you will have a chance to win them or u will b invited to a better clan :)

sorry about your 3 boxes may be u will use them before even reaching level 30 wich makes low mythical

The best example for how broken mythicals are, is *name censored*.
Currently on position 1 in the ladder an using four mythicals that you can see.
(Don't know how much invisible mythicals)

This guy is really bad in playing.
I got none mythical on my heatmech and have beaten him in 5 of 6 matches.
This goes so far that he now quits the matches before they even start.

BUT he is on position one! Take away his mythicals and you wont find him under the top 100...

I can only win, because he makes lot of mistakes during the match.
Now against players that CAN play AND have mythicals there's noch chance for me.

Meteor = 45 kg
mythical sword = 36 kg

Call of Lightning = 72 kg
Sparks (the mythical) = 59 kg

Missile launcher = 72 kg
Mayhem Battery 1 = 57 kg

The mythicals versions have less weight than der non mythical versions.

But it ISN't mythical vs mythical all the time!
It is mythical vs poor guy without any chance too often!

Change the matchmaking so that mythical (ab)users can only fight other mythicals, THEN it would be fair!

In that case why are you complaining? His mythicals apparently don't put him in a better position than you.

The REAL reason he's in 1st place is because he plays constantly and buys battle credits with SM.

His ranking isn't a measure of his skill or how good his items are.

The "sparks" sword is completely useless. Energy mechs rely heavily on high damage burst from their special+sword combo, so the reduced damage from mythical sword (40-60 compared to 66-99) and the reduced energy drain (45 compared to 50) makes it vastly inferior to the "normal" energy sword.

Yes, and the mythical launcher does less damage AND doesn't knock back. The main advantage to it is the 5-7 range, but it's hardly a game changing weapon. I don't use it at all.

I don't play much anymore and my view of this might be somewhat limited but i think you can still manage as a free player as long as your setup is good. There's still enough others with only a few or no mythicals at all so you can still find fun matches and have a good time. At least i can, just don't take it so damn seriously. And there's no shame in kitting the heck out of payers and it's damn fun when you destroy someone full of mythicals :)
