Special Events are (sometimes) one time things that happen whenever the developers choose the date for it. Some examples are double XP weekend! 1 item box every 3 ladder wins! Free legendary!

The idea you gave is more like an multiplayer 3D game but SuperMechs isnt like Black Ops 3 or something with double XP weekends.
The better idea is that you can fight bosses with Your clan.
Or like contracts that if you win 5 multiplayer battles in a row you Will get tokens or an item Chest.

The idea of XP weekend wont work i think
Next time come with something better
Like make an sketch of an mech you think is cool and send it to the community
