Agree, they should make top players only battle players in top ranks or any player that ranks the leaderboard from 1st place to 50th place. This would make it more fair and top players will now get to prove if their the best of the best

Yeah, I probably have to agree.

A few points to consider, though...

In ladder battles, we get matched with those who are also searching at the same time as us. So... If no one else is searching but top players in the 1-50 player rankings... Then does that mean you have to fight them?

But rank 2 facing 1-50 ranked players is a big downer.

Perhaps a max search time? And if no match is found, display "no match found" or "try again"? I don't know about this one, though...
