Gentlemen, I do understand financial mechanisms, and revenue options and profit generation.
I also do understand psychology and statistics.
The majority of the gaming population are the younger generation, probably at the age around elementary school or at most the beginning of high school.
I do not think they are really interested about nose sprays, refrigeration technics or monstrous, inescapable advertisements about new games in very frequent intervallums.
As it is common knowledge, kids have short attention span, therefore they will grow frustrated and impatient with the game and eventually they will leave, and turn toward games less cumbersome.
That mean you might loose more income by this mass emigration of paying customers than the advertisements might generate.

If you must have advertisements, at least try to shape it in theme and lenght and in intervallum to the true interest and tolerance zone of this age group.
