The new protection rule will support the boosters heavily on 2+ ticks worlds. I can't imagine a none-booster will ever manage to win a 4 ticker now xD

Have to agree. The only thing 100+ protection ticks does to 2+ticker worlds, is lessen the income of those that don´t boost. Imagine having to wait 400 ticks on a 4 ticker to get most of the conquers. How far ahead will boosters be by then? There are so many more popular requests, why add one I am fairly sure nobody requested?

i don't think it's that people don't care, it's more like people gave up on trying to get things taken out, since the devs would rather "improve" it than admit they goofed up and take it out. (example: world chat)

If that's the case, surely devs should be worried that their players don't care so much about the game anymore since they feel they don't get a say in it.

I disagree that people just gave up, since players still do try make changes to the game. It might be true, I wouldn't have really noticed if people stopped caring since I've only been active on the forums for a while, so don't know how active the forums use to be. For me it's always been fairly quiet.

I just want to know how many have actually thought about the impacts of this new rule?

To answer 1, they SHOULD be worried. But it's the truth really. Do not notice the players getting much say in new BD features.

And 2, the impact is, increasing the gap between boosters and nonboosters. The gap is larger the faster the ticks are

My reasons for not liking this are completely different from the ones practically everyone else is presenting so do not involve me in this. Everyone complaining about this update are looking at newbs merely as resources and that is far more detrimental to bd than this update ever will be.
