Currently, the crafting system is completely useless, and no one should touch it. In order to make it viable... one change has to be made (no, not remove durability) :


Make it so that you can select which item you get from crafting.


This might not be an attractive idea for players who wish to use the newly gotten mythical for an extended period of time (durability), but if we remember what Liran said in a video in the SM Youtube channel (before it was removed)... "It is a great way to experience new mythicals". I think this can only be true IF we get to select which mythical we get.

For example... a new mythical is released which I am interested in seeing how it will work on my mech. So I spend around 20000 power to craft this new item, for maybe 10 test battles. If I like it, I will try to get a permanent version. (From boxes)

It also prevents you from getting junk items that you don't want AFTER spending a lot of power for them. The fact that you can't fuse them over just makes it even more difficult to get rid of the crafted junk.

The purpose of the change I proposed isn't really to make it so it's easier to make better mechs, it's just so that Liran's claim of "It is a great way to experience new mythicals" make sense.

Currently, the crafting system is a complete waste, as you can spend a lot of power for ONE mythical, only for it to end up completely worthless. (Like you, ElectroCop).

Imagine spending 15000 power to try to get a new mythical weapon, just so you can test it out for 10 battles. Then you get ElectroCop. A big joke. You can't even fuse it back.
