Hey guys. I started pking at level 26 and have been placed against some level 30's. It is kinda unfair because, at that level, many things change. So, I would like to offer a solution: level 30 becomes its own separate "level bracket" for a couple of reasons.

1)Level 30's can collect many legendaries at that level. Unlike lower levels, where you can no longer gain legendary weapons, at level 30, you can continue getting weapons. This allows many players to easily amass legendaries, making it very difficult to fight a level 30.

2)Resistance draining weapons at level 30. Unlike when you are fighting at lower levels, level 30's have access to items which drop your resistance. These items can drop your resistance, and coupled with the weaponry level available at level 30, destroy you. Normally, when pking against higher levels, it is ok to use some resistance kits to even out the playing field. Against level 30's, this is impossible.

3)There is currently a glitch going around which causes fights against level 30's sometimes to be determined solely on ladder points, so the lower level may end up going 2nd.

4)There is enough level 30s playing to not make it die off. We can see this because 8/10 of the top players are level 30, and 7/10 of the top players online(when I am writing this) are level 30.

5)Level 29, or the new highest level, isn't as overpowered.

i agree because the level 30 resistance draining weapons alone are enough to defeat anybody not level 30. they really do remove the balance of level 30 from everyone else, including level 29 just below them.

I think we should watch the amount of daily active players on level 30 for a week or two, and if its really needed, we'll add it for sure!

That's awesome. Its great to get that admin support. I'm sure there is enough daily players at level 30 to warrant it. Ill be there myself in just a few levels. Thank you Ilona.

no we deserve the right to get lucky and fight lower levels it makes us get quick cash for nothing please don't implement this
ps this is no sarcasm and what about the level 30 players who are using lower level mechs for them to fight lower level players when this is implemented they will be devastated to have to start their mech from the ground up.

Need some quick IGC? Do some NPC battles.

But in general, i support this idea.
From time to time, i too meet few people who has below lvl30 mech. I don't want to battle with someone who has anything short from lvl30 mech.
Just for the lower lvl mech's sake, i could loose purposely the battle but since i do PvPs for ladder points, i can't do that.
So, to me, the match won't be a challenge but more like a slaughter.

this would not apply to them unless they are using a level 30 mech, then it would. it would be a new bracket for level 30 mechs... not necessarily for level 30 players.
................however..............
if it was enforced on a player basis and not a mech basis.... then it would force level 30s to play at level 30, that may then also improve some of the balance of the lower levels by forcing the pros to play at their level.

p.s. i may have ticked a few people off that are level 30 and like to play at that lower level by saying that, but in the long run, that is what the devs want is for everyone to fight at their own levels.
