Welcome! Honestly once you get to higher levels of play you'll want to use kits, not using them isn't anything to brag about either in my opinion

You describe kits in a negative connotation here, which I don't see why because they are a perfectly legal part of game play. Rank 1s use kits all the time, it's nothing to be guilty of.

You are playing smart by saving your tokens! I cannot stress enough to save these! In my eyes the most logical purchases you can make with tokens are mythical boxes and gold boxes (if you want to test your luck). Whenever I buy tokens I always stick to mythical boxes because their is no risk and you always get a mythical item, 100% of the time.

Well that's under the assumption that you will need a kit every match, which at rank 1 (hopefully is your goal) you won't need.

You're definitely on the right track with saving up SM. I normally use about 6 kits in 15 battle credits. Now that number will raise or lower based on your mech keep in mind.

If you feel it's a waste then don't buy them, I feel like kits are an investment worth taking.
