So earlier i was in my local library using a computer and there was this other guy doing the same. He was in his 40s-60s in terms of age and he farted at least 10 times in the 1 hour i was there. each fart included about 5-15 short bursts. it was really smelly and it wasn't quite but not overly loud either. i have a cold so my nose was really stuffed and i could smell it like i didn't have a cold. i didn't want to move from there and didn't want to embarrass him ( if it's possible ) so i used my hoody to cover my nose expertly


anyways enough with describing the situation.

my question is, is there a disease that makes you fart uncontrollably? or did he just eat some nonsense?

Then he could have some sort of gastrointestinal disease or it could have been something he ate. Greasy and fatty foods can cause that, as well as some spicy foods. Sometimes it depends on the individual.
