Topic is general, how did manage to find this website?
Mine is quite interesting actually, it was posted on Yahoo Answers as an Answer, and I had it open at school, so when I go home, I thought I'd try it.
When I got home, the question had been deleted, because it wasn't a question (-.-) after hours of research, I finally found the game, and was addicted to it for 2 1/2 years and still live on these forums.

I think I was searching on Google, and eventually found the OC. I quit for a while, then after about a year of not playing, I wondered how the game was getting on, and ended up playing.

I found it when I was about 17 years old from an advert on RuneScape (Guilty as charged) Played for about 3 days, got bored so I quit. Two years later I was bored and I remembered the game, played the end of the era, came back at the start of another and Vwala - another soul lost to the world.

My friend played it 4 years ago. He sucks. And he's a nub... I HATE NUBS... so I tried it out, and got out of my nub status in 5 days. won my first era 2 months after. Well, BD is really fun and I encourageo others to try it.

Mine is interesting...mayyybe...
1. I wanted to build an RPG.
2. Ended up joining an MMORPG.
3. Checked the Top 100 and found BD (OC) there.
4. Checked, played a bit, almost won (before RL quit on me >.>)
5. Remembered the game.
Something like that ^.^

I was a community member of one of BD's old affiliate sites: http://forum.free-games.com.au and came to BD with two others from FGF. One left after the first round, one quit after NC launched, I stuck around.

my brother (Tom) told me about it. i was ten so wasnt very intrested in such a slow game so i quit after about a week. then when i next saw him i got into it again for aa couple of months and got some friends to play. we all then quit. every time i saw him me n my friends started to play but im the only one who has stuck.

my is wierd lol well one day we were playing basket ball att my house than i saw my friend playing bd nc than i ask him what it was it about he told and than i tried a couple of weeks later and i starting geting better and better and got better than him

I found it when I was distracted watching TV and playing chess on my PC. I clicked on the wrong button... and guess what: it was BD. I just said "why not?" and played it... sucked first week, left it in frustration but couldnt get my mind off that I actually terribly sucked. Came back, planning on revenge... well ya can c where that ended xD
