Greetings,

I guess this is the place to introduce myself and my alliance.

We came to Battle Dawn from another browser-based strategy game. We were a top ranked alliance (#4), but with no end-game in sight, it started getting old. So far, we are really liking the game mechanics of this game a lot better.

We are not currently accepting any recruits except for those that were part of the alliance in our old game. But once everyone has moved over and if there are still some spots, we might look at accepting newcomers. We are also not making any diplomatic agreements at this time. Once we feel that we understand this game well enough to deserve respect, we will entertain diplomacy.

We fully expect to be slaughtered in the beginning while we learn the finer details of this game. But we are hoping that we will gain enough experience that we can be a competitive alliance in the next round of E4.

Welcome to BD! We hope you and the rest of your alliance enjoy this great game and become active members in our forum community.

If you and your alliance need any more help in learning about the game, you could each sign up for mentors that have experience playing and could teach you. Just click on the picture in my signature and fill out the appropriate form. Once completed I can match you up with someone to help.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I appreciate the offer for pairing us up with experienced players to help us learn the game, but the alliance MS is doing a pretty good job already in teaching us how to play. (they were the closest hornet's nest that we could kick). Our philosophy is to just jump in and make the stupid mistakes right away and when the next round starts, hopefully we will have learned enough that we can be a contender in the game.

I will relay that offer though so if any of my players want a mentor, they will know how to get one.
