I've made this thread to post general info on how the current battle system works, which should hopefully prove useful to players who don't yet understand it.

Weapon types vs Chassis types

Concussive:
100% damage to infantry
50% damage to vehicles
25% damage to tanks

Beam:
100% damage to vehicles
50% damage to tanks
25% damage to infantry

Explosive:
100% damage to tanks
50% damage to infantry
25% damage to vehicles

Each weapon type will fire at whichever chassis it can do the most damage to (against infantry and vehicles, explosive units would fire at infantry first)

Chassis types vs other Chassis types
Tanks have 25% less health when fighting vehicles
Vehicles have 25% less health when fighting infantry
Infantry do not suffer health loss vs any chassis


Armour, damage and range - which dies first?
During a battle, armour units will be fired at first, then damage once the armour are all dead, then range. However, this does not work across different chassis, so armour tanks will not defend damage infantry, etc.

Damage, is it worth using?
Using infantry as an example, damage totals from 1 armour, 1 damage and 1 ranged infantry per round:

Round 1:
Total damage inflicted by armour: 0 (cannot fire yet)
Total damage inflicted by damage: 0 (cannot fire yet)
Total damage inflicted by range: 4

Round 2:
Total damage inflicted by armour: 0 (cannot fire yet)
Total damage inflicted by damage: 7
Total damage inflicted by range: 8 (4+4)

Round 3:
Total damage inflicted by armour: 2
Total damage inflicted by damage: 14 (7+7)
Total damage inflicted by range: 12 (4+4+4)

Round 4:
Total damage inflicted by armour: 4 (2+2)
Total damage inflicted by damage: 21 (7+7+7)
Total damage inflicted by range: 16 (4+4+4+4)

Round 5:
Total damage inflicted by armour: 6 (2+2+2)
Total damage inflicted by damage: 28 (7+7+7+7)
Total damage inflicted by range: 20 (4+4+4+4+4)

I would like to add

each squad hold 30 soldiers
soldier = 1 soldier
vehicle = 2 soldier
tank = 3 soldier

when someone talk about squad setup number it is
Armor / Damage / Range
example: 3/0/7

this one I am not sure
unit weakness

Can anyone tell me why Inf get the bonus against vehicles.
And vehicles get the bonus against tanks.
But tanks get no bonus?
What is the point of making them then???
As far as i can tell all of the other factors are equal...

Anyone know?

The tanks have a lot more health than both the inf and the vehicles, essentially making it harder to kill them quickly.

However, in my opinion, tanks aren't really that great, unless you are going for an all-tank build... which would be quite expensive

fantasy is exactly the same, just the names are different

infantry= Infantry
vehicals = calvary
tanks = heavy

concussive = slash
beam = pierce
explosive = crushing

Question 1. Do ALL units attack their full damage on the remaining units? Or do they only match up 1 v 1?

For example, lets say there are 100 infantry slashing VS 40 Heavy Slashing.
Do ALL 100 infantry hit on the 40 Heavies? or do only 40 infantry hit and the other 60 sit there waiting?

Question 2. Do the 40 Heavies hit ONLY 40 targets that round, killing them with the excess damage not applying to the remaining 60 targets? or does their excess damage apply to ALL 100 units?
- I would assume the 100 would ALL hit, but only the 40 heavies would hit and kill 40, but the remaining 60 are unhit, but just cause I or WE ASSUME this doesnt mean it is how it is.

ALL units hit, and they hit all units
the 40 tanks would hit all the infantery units, not just 40.
or else inf would have a HUGE atvantage
