I believe that may be flagged as account sharing but I am not sure, I will pass this on to the admins to see what they say.

I really wouldn't recommend it, would raise red flags on your account and possibly lead to you getting banned.

masking or changing ur IP is never recommended, unless u have a good reason for it
just out of curiosity, why do u need to change ur IP address?

The only reason to proxy your IP address for the purposes of this game is to build multis or account share "undetected."
Unless you are attempting to avoid work monitoring programs in which case VPNs will raise even more red flags amongst your work monitoring program. If work is the issue, then it is better to just play normally and make sure you are playing under https rather than http. This will allow your work to see the site address but not access what you did directly. This is, of course, unless your work has a complete controlled network where they can actually retrieve footage of your browsing (like mine does). In which case its best if you just buy your IT guy a beer or two and become pals.
But for the most part VPNs are used to try and fool battledawn admins away from multi usage. Not a Fan.
I wouldnt suggest it, it will clearly raise some eyebrows amongst the admins.

I am sorry Firemanpete but your assumption of using vpn for sole reason of creating multi's is flawed, and not justified. You have no idea what my situation/reason is.. so please don't presume... furthermore it has bugger nothing to do with work monitoring programs. I can visit where and how I see fit. So nothing personal but please have the facts before you make broad unwarranted comments.
There are various reasons for wanting to use vpn, just look at international media currently with the whole PRISM crap.
Primarily the use of VPN is to maintain private data private, every second internet coupled thing wants to track your unique data, example Google for targeted adverts....
If you don't want to be tracked/logged/watched the easiest option is VPN. So how can concerns over privacy equate to multi accounts.................(the use of VPN is thus for the broader use of the internet and not specific to BD, but to kill the VPN just for the purpose of logging in seems unnecessary)
For the admins... while vpn could open up a whole can of worms, I see it as no different than two guys sharing a PC, or varsities who all use one proxy to access internet, and feel it can be managed and look forward to constructive comments forward.
