For every 100 soldiers there is 12%,overhead costs etc...
so this is there to limit the size of an army or what...?
Also could this mean that infantry will be cheaper to produce compared to vehicles and tank?

Oh and does it really matter how many units are in a squad?
Say 1 squad with 15 range units attacks an outpost and 15 squads with 1 range unit each attack an outpost, same units will the outcome be different?
Or is this just a way of a bluff and waste of oil?

Overhead is to reduce the size of armies. A lot slower recruiting squads when your overhead hits +100% :P
As for the costs, it's the same for all. You could recruit 100 inft, 50 vech or 33 mechs before your overhead hit's +12%. So you can recruit more inft, however because vechs and mechs have higher damage it all works out to be the same.

As for the second question; it doesn't matter whether your units are split up in single squads or packed in to one squad while in battle. The outcome will still be the same. It would be a heavy waste of oil though, however it's good for bluffing and advisable for spams :)

I disagree with range for spams.

Too expensive and too squishy.

Oh I didn't mean range for spams. I meant the most viable time where you have 1 unit in a squad would be for spams. If you're going to do that, make a damage concussive tank.
