Battledawn was down earlier and i figured that it was maintenance so this was me earlier. :mrgreen:

A colony can end up in the water if the user has a poor connection/lagging so the quick delay causes the server to believe they're still on land when placing.

or the admin of the world could have moved them there for whatever reason. I know when I ran my contest event, I was given special permission to be placed in the middle of the ocean on an Earth world and given era long protection so I could watch the events play out as needed.

But yes, its either a glitch or the admin got bored.

That or there was a garrison there. Admins can place them anywhere, if you capture one you can relocate to it.

As someone actually playing on that world, I can confirm it was a Garrison :p

I know a long time ago we also used to nuke wrecks to be able to do something similar.
