I have one question though, if you please, why are damage units so bad? Simply put, a Ranged-based (ranged/armoured) army would cut deeper into a Damage-based (damage/armoured) army before the damage units can actually begin to attack, so you lose more units in the process. This is due to Damage's second-strike nature, so Damage units actually attack after Ranged units do.
Although, Damage is not at all useless, you may keep a few around for general outpost defense or something like that, but not when you're out in a war.

I see, so if its like 2 squads of the same units fighting and my opponent sacrificed range units' space for damage units; I'm definitely going to kill a lot of his units first before he kills mine.

2) Follow the tutorial – The most fundamental piece of advice here. The tutorial covers most of the basics from resource production to squad building. Some players get impatient and skip it, only to find themselves stuck at a gentle learning curve. Don’t be one of them. --> you will have an outpost, screaming to be counqered by a neighbor. 50 tokens for him, none for you. Do not follow the tutorial, but only for 1 time. then forget that world. You made your first mistake. 8) Never take what you can’t keep – those 19 crystals on that empty colony may seem tempting, but think about it. Can you defend it at all afterwards? Having a good army size before you attack deters potential attackers to your newfound treasure; without them, you’ll lose stuff as you get them. --> sure, let someone who allready is forming an edge over you take them this makes sure you won't catch up at all. 12) Got conquered? No problem – If you’re new, being conquered is actually beneficial; you get time and relative safety to build up and procure an army, as well as to plan your way ahead. Don’t rebel unless you feel absolutely sure you can handle the worst-case scenario. --> sure, but remember, you can not counqer anyone while you, your self is counqered. that means you will never have the same income as those who have counqered others. This makes sure even if you break out of protection you will not be able to fight in a big war. You might end up as cannonfodder, if you are lucky. actualy most other points in this tutorial are against eatch other, but not my role to point them out. advice for a new player on the link below. from that you will gain the knowledge to know how come someone can have instantly at tick 1 far more troops and resources than you at tick 100. a more honest guide.

Income isn't really important, it's what you do with the income you have. Hell, you could start off having 20 metal and oil per tick and still do relatively well. Just start building troops little by little, and vote to get the blue tokens. I've put my opinion on there and I have my reservations, but I'll let the others decide for themselves how well you wrote that guide. Anyways, with a similar mindset and you advertising your guide on here as a response to me posting my comment on yours, makes me suspicious.
Remember kids, Multi-accounts are a big no-no, even in the forums

I gotta say this has some very useful tips. I like to use armored tanks coupled with ranged infantry. Now I know that's something I should generally avoid.
Hey what do you think of this combo? 3 armored tanks, one of each weapon type. 6 damage vehicles, two of each weapon type. 9 ranged infantry, 3 of each weapon type.

Anyways, it's up to you and your needs, but I'd suggest you generally avoid damage units, as well as using more than one chassis type as a major chassis. Damage units, as already explained, aren't really efficient, especially against a decently built ranged army. Most people would agree with that. Also, using more than one chassis type somewhat cuts down your army's combined attack power, although it provides you with more flexibility. I suggest finding a balance, maybe using two chassis types, but one chassis type should have more units than the other, since the other chassis type serves as a special force for dealing with units that will normally crush your main chassis (these units would most likely be anti-tanks). I also don't like using tanks, but that's just my preference.

Alright then I'll avoid damage units from now on, I'll probably save on metal that way. Anyway I personally find tanks to be very effective as shields for ranged units.

Yes, but I don't think armoured tanks defend non-tank ranged units first, if at all. And since Ranged tanks (or tanks in general) can really run your resources to the ground (especially if you're building them en masse), I'd suggest you switch to another chassis. But again, it's up to you and your capabilities and needs.

TIP: the best ratios I've found are: Tanks: 3 amour 7 range Vehicles: 5 amour 10 range Infantry: 10 amour 20 range That's the ratio I use, well done fantastic guide and I only looked at it cause it was in your sig, great idea! Also very good guide!
