Chapter II
Hell Hounds VS Battle of Zero odds

At the time of 300 etas when I dare to say epic event occurred, BoZo was rank 2 and was struggling for rank 1. Hell was no near to get stronger, which was caused mostly by lack of experience of some members, lack of trust between each other and inactivity of 3 old colonies. I can also add one more disadvantage of hell hounds by that time. It was the hard decision to change core members, who had low rank, and activity level, but who have played well on other servers. Analyzing BoZo is much harder for me, because I can only assume what was happening inside. But one can be said for sure, they didn’t notice, or ignored the fact that hell gates and radars were pretty near to their hive. Strategically Hell played well, and bozo lost strategic fight, though tactical one went quite different. Although Hell had an headstart given by unexpected attack, they we not able to use it, to cause diversion and panic inside BoZo alliance, so BoZo stationed the armies of 7-8 members together in one colony, Where were flying all Hell hounds armies. It was quite a hard time for Hell Hounds, because the scans from 3 members showed 25% more armies than they had there, and that was nearly 90% of Hell Hounds Army, so there was many offers inside skype of hell houds, offering not to attack, maby turn, regroup, and attack once more but, as the saying goes the outcome of war sometimes depends on very trivial causes, and this time their fate was sealed by “Remyslim” (BoZo leader). Due to the fact that massages are not saved much long, the original massage is not at hand, but I will try to give you a short summary of it. The main massage there was like this: Now as you have seen that we are very active alliance, you should turn back because we mustn’t take on each other and instead go on HQ. As you should remember from chapter one, we already tried, but BoZo didn’t act, so we decided it was a bluff, and you never need a bluff, unless you hold poor cards. So spirit got up and hounds began barking and biting again. As a result we decided that the scans were mistaken and we didn’t turn back. The bravery got rewarded, so BoZo lost the main clash and was left without armies. But who could knew that one of the bozo members “King SK” was heading with 10-15 squads of cavalry right in the undefended hive. Here played its role a Sub alliance leader, Ugro, who sacrificed all his armies to defend Hell Hounds, and although he lost, King SK had left only 3 range units, which was way far from defeating even undefended hive. On the contrary ObOz relocated and changed their name into BA (bloody angels), so if they played with their main nobody would knew, how this war could have ended. As one good player of Battle Down once said: “Logistics wins the war” Bozo relocated in a hurry and unorganized, like everyone was saving their skin, so it was not a “Fall Back” but just usual “Flee/Run away”. As a result of this war, Hell hounds removed one of the main opponents from the fight, though in following etas, Bozo will still fight in another decisive battle. After this war HQ got decisive first place followed By STC (former T3RK). Hell was again number 3 with less army, than before Bozo attack.

I would like to emphasize one event that followed and was caused by the war with BoZo. Liberation of Devils Rejects (DR) at the moment the name may be forgotten, but in the etas 400-600 they will play a significant role in world politics and even become the dominating force on the central island, where BoZo was located previously. After eta 600 3 of the main players of DR: “Prowler” “Skilsaw” and “Heat” joined Hellhounds. This was the time when hell started to improve the disadvantage of keeping old but inactive players in the alliance.

In the pre war times the most important event was so called “CUBA CRYSIS”. All began with Radar of Hell hounds. Radar was near to STC territory, on the border of SVAN and STC, which covered only small part of STC territory and most definitely not the Hive. STC decided to act quickly. They assured 300 that Hell hounds were intending attack on 300 and offered joining forces, for defense and following counter attack. “300” agreed and sent squads together with STC on this radar and 2 more hell OPs that were even further on SVAN territory. SVAN got involved and started to send squads on STC ops near mutual border, as well as ops of 300 that were 7-8 etas away from their border. All of this is has happened during 1 eta. STC also sent a demand to hell hounds to raze the radar. Hell requested an explanation of this demand, because radar was far away from inspecting STC internal movements. Simultaneously hell has sent squads on STC radar nearby and one gate. On the same tick in this territory HQ started to build 3 ops. 3OO (sub of 300) also started hostile movements in the region. Only REN decided to stick to normal attitude to problem solving system and decided that instead of first shooting and then asking questions, it is better to start asking questions and then decide to shoot or not. After that for 2 ticks until the conquers landed there was a diplomatic boom. Zgrnachv talked with Leonidas and leader of 300 was happy to hear that Hell wasn’t going to attack them so they marked each other friendlies. Of course 300 turned back the attacks. Also Hell leader talked with 3OO leader 3OO not only turned back but also decided to become Hell sub 2 (IHEL). STC also turned back and the attacker RodazaC said that he will talk to his leader about this matter. On the other side as soon as there was no threat for Hell and Svan OP-s those alliances turned their squads too. All the turnings happened 5-7 minutes before the attacks landed. Everything seemed to be peaceful again, but not for too long. During all this time the radar of Hell was jammed so we were using the far sight but soon we thought we didn’t needed it so in 3-4 ticks after the crisis it vanished. After the crisis in 6-8 ticks RodazaC sent another attack on the radar leaving it jammed and without notifying anyone. He hoped that Hell wouldn’t see it and wouldn’t react. But Svan leader sent a message to Zgrnachv as soon as the attack was sent and Hell decided to strike and give lesson to traitorous STC. Another important thing is that after Hell radar was taken Svans gate was also attacked by STC.

Hell started mobilizing all their forces near STC hive and declared war. Svan did the same. Undead Grizzly didn’t saw this happening. He thought that because of one OP war wouldn’t start. So this time he tried to somehow avoid it. He made nap till 600 tick with svan but didn’t achieved anything with hell. On tick 600 joint attack of Svan and Hell started on STC. Equipped with experience gained from war with BoZo Hell hounds decided not to strike and decide everything in one big clash, instead they decided to create a diversion and split STC in two and test them: Their courage, trust, loyalty and activity lvl. AT eta 600 STC and Hell armies were standing next to each other in Ops 6 etas away from each other, when Svan used the opening and attacked directly the hive. Because poor leadership, STC started to act as 12 different persons, instead of one big alliance, so they started to fall back leaving behind inactive members in the OP we discussed above. From CQ after 300 etas from this, it became known, that by eta 600 STC had nearly no lumber and mana left to do anything, because they had to do very fast concentration of their armies and jamming of Hell and SVAN. So Hell hounds started attack on the forces that were left behind and used Spy for a lockdown and viruses. As a result half of the STC armies were wiped out and STC members started panicking. Some relocated near and were concuered, some couldn’t even manage that, but some (RodazaC and CQ) relocated near the HQ hive and started asking about joining in Svan and HQ simultaneously.

Three new members, who joined hell from Devils rejects, gave hell brand new prospective of being nearly 12-15 etas away from HQ base with several radars and gates. So hell started moving to RodazaC and CQ, who were sitting near HQ hive on 11 eta way. But due to one anonymous jamming of the gate near STC hive, only Zgrnachv and severian armies were able to get to destination point. That night Hell hounds were overdosed by adrenaline. It was second sleepless night, but seemed that nobody was tired. 3 Rank alliance took out 2 rank and now was moving on rank 1 who was at least two times stronger than hell hounds in score and armies, moving without rest, without regaining forces, without regrouping armies, in other words “Hell on Wheels”. Meanwhile HQ started to mobilize armies near CQ’s and RodazaC’s newly relocated colonies. If at eta 670 opposing fronts had only 40 squads each, represented by Zatman (HQ) versus Zgrnachv (Hell) and Severian (Hell), at eta 680 front became a real show. Near 3000 units of HQ were opposed by 210 squads of Hell Hounds. Odds were even no one wanted to start attack. HQ as well as hell was holding negotiations with RodazaC and CQ to join their alliances. The window was closing only several etas were left before two former STC members could join a new alliance. CQ and RodazaC were talking to Hell members on Skype and HQ members on MSN whole night. Hells diplomacy won and those 2 joined Hell. Together with their armies Hell launched attacks on nearby HQ OP-s. HQ started retreating and razing everything. Also HQ shot dragons. In the next two days till the end of the war by my calculations HQ launched nearly 70 dragons and none of them hit even single Hell Unit. The important event that happened during the war was defeat of Archa`s armies because he was offline by the time when Hell attacked an OP where HQ-s armies were stationed and all HQ members removed their armies off that OP. After that Hell-s 2 member armies were wiped out (Heat and Scalphunter) because they weren’t fast enough to turn back their squads. The final battle that decided the fate of the war happened during the Hell-s 180 and HQ-s 170 squads but HQ thought that Hell was attacking only with 72 squads that’s why they took the attack and not retreated to join forces with Sartorius-s 52 squads which after was defeated by SVAN. After this war Hell took serious losses so couldn’t use full advantage of killing HQ so most HQ crystals and conquers went away from Hell but at that moment it wasn’t important to get 200 more or less crystals from HQ, it was even less important to take the relics which came out during this war. The only important thing for every Hell Hound was the name of the brave and skillful alliance and a chance to get a proper 8 hour sleep. So after 4 sleepless nights, the order from Zgrnachv was to rest and regain power. Hell will really be in peace for next 300 etas before world war begins.

I am sorry guys if I wrote something wrong about activity lvl, of some alliances, but the thing is that if Hell and 5 of svan members were all the time pushing and were online for 24 hours during wars, from other alliances usually online were not all 12 and didint defend together, movements were not so coordinated and so on. Only HQ was active enough to fight for 2 days, even there we caught archa alone. But My Idea was to write this story from Hell hounds point of view, I will be only happy to hear other points of view. Write what was happening inside your alliances. And I have to say sorry about Battle reports. All the interesting battle reports were out in 20-25 etas, because during wars, we were having so many reports, that it is nearly impossible, to think of what to archive. If you are not planning in advance to write something. As for next chapter I will write about last world war :) and I have one BR archived :)

well if you analize why hell won, it was not good gaming, because we didnt have nearly half of the conquers HQ or STC or even BoZo had. So our income was relatively low than theirs. It was just the fact, that all 12 members all the time were working as one and once decided even suicide missions were done with lust and joy. No one even thought of turning back or something like that. I don't know what to call it the spirit, or loyalty to each other, or trust in leader, maybe all of this together. But the fact is that hell hounds didn't win this era because they were superb players of BD, thy just won it because there were acting as one team. And even Subs, especially Ohell played vital role saving us from unexpected attacks. I have never seen (maybe because I am not experienced BD player) that sub fought till the end and sacrificed himself for the main alliance.
