Now I know alot of you are thinking "hey weren't BYZ in the last era when they fought UN and lost?

Hmmmmmm.....


They were, but it wasn't the real BYZ. It was an imposter alliance operating under a tag that was not sanctioned by....well me.


Anyways,

I know this is a tad early as the current era still has hundreds of ticks to run and the last two relics still have yet to be released, but I felt like announcing our return to battledawn officially.


The Byzantine Empire (BYZ) will return in all its glory with its rightful leader to our home world (Earth 4) next era.

We welcome all challengers to the title of "Winning alliance" and we extend the olive branch of peace to those willing to be friendly with us.

That being said, we will never "play for second" behind another alliance.
We are here to win, we are here to reestablish the winners of E4 A1 and A2.


So, all challengers and potential allies, I welcome you with open arms. May this next era be entertaining, full of competition, and most of all FUN.

Hanni, it was not an imposter alliance as you were MIA and I was the only member of the OC BYZ that was still kicking around. You had no problem with BYZ being there when I told you what was going on and you built.

Just to clarify: UN was terrible, and by NO MEANS deserved to win that era. The true winner of that era is LION. Hell, it was LION that conquered BYZ, not UN. All UN did was lose armies, hide, boost, and let us suicide into them when we realized we couldn't fight LION unless it was just them.

But all of that old stuff put to the side, BYZ is going to flourish this round, and I dare anybody to come onto this server and try to stop it.

Aye, I had planted a colony and observed you guys. but you were RR at the time. And was okay with you renaming yourselves BYZ "in my honour" but I always knew that really it wasnt BYZ if I wasnt in the alliance, let alone leading it.



But yes anyways, I cannot wait for this next era. My skype has been made public, please approach me for any and all reasons.
