For a lack of a better place, I am going to put this post here.

I have enjoyed playing battle dawn over the last year (No I am not quitting :P) and it has been great getting to know everyone in the community. I've met a lot of amazing people whom I hope I will be able to keep in contact with over the years. However, one thing with playing games is that we often get disconnected from real life and forget the rules we need to abide by.

Recently another player, whom I will not name for his sake, has decided it would be funny to figure out all my personal information and begin harassing me. This player has found my Facebook page and sent me messages on there to talk down to me after I blocked him on Skype, has began calling me on my cellphone with multiple phone lines and when I pickup there is only silence (That is actually illegal in my state so if I so desired I could press charges on this player). They have also been texting me with multiple phones from multiple parts of the world saying they know who I am and where I go to school. This is harassment no matter how you look at it and something that makes the whole community look bad.

It is not my desire to ruin this player's reputation or life by naming him or pressing charges, but I wanted to give everyone a reminder, especially him, that although you may be hidden bend a screen, the people you are talking to and playing against are very real and you must treat them with respect. Your actions still have consequences and that should never be forgotten. Sometimes we find ourselves becoming very different people when we have the safety of the screen in front of us and it is up to us to realize when this happens and fix it.

To the unnamed player who has been harassing me, I hope for your sake you stop, because I truly don't want this issue to escalate. This road is not something either of us want to go down.

that's a legitimate concern to have. I'd do something more about it like social said

I have given him fair warning and had one friend warn him through Skype. I have also blocked all phone numbers and re-blocked him on Facebook. If it continues after this point I will be pressing charges. I believe we all make mistakes, some bigger than others, but sometimes it only takes a strong warning for people to realize their wrong doings. He is just lucky he isn't messing with someone who isn't as forgiving.

u just know there is a 16 yr old kid behind the screen but in reality god knows who that man is behind the screen & what can he be upto
I believe u should take safety measures , this small thing ( which ur considering small or taking it lightly) can ruin ur entire life


Press charges against him , hope this will not affect BattleDawn , but anyways life of a innocent is way more then this game

I jest. I suggest you press charges immediately. Rather safe then sorry, you never know what may end up happening.
