Hello everyone.
tl;dr; version: Battledawn became too addictive, and I have to quit playing. But I'm curious what people thought about Adam of Garden and his alliance OIL.


Long version:
I havn't been playing battledawn too long, but I quickly enjoyed it. (as you can see I started in May) I found myself logging into the game every 20 minutes or so. And when the hour long ticks came out, I figured I would be able to balance my work/game/life better. But that only made me log in every 40 minutes, for 30 minutes at a time (yes the math doesn't work ). So I need to stop playing.

However, I'm curious what people thought of OIL and Adam of Garden. Did you think my strategy was working? Did I appear to be experienced? A noob? Thoughts? Opinions?

I'm not sure if OIL is going to continue in the same direction or not, and the alliance had lots of great people. I could not have gotten where I got without them. I was shocked when I found myself in first place, and even more shocked when I was able to get up to rank 8 after losing everything one night while I slept.

I've devolped a system for myself (im not sharing it )

Whit it i only have to log in at certain , specif times.

Yeah, intellectually, I know I only have to log in, maybe once ever 4 hours or so. (depending on what my defenses were like or what my attack plans were like) But my brain couldn't handle it, and I just had to watch what was happening and see how things were. It's called an addiction Not to mention the hours of staring at the map, and drawing battle plans and scenarios.

I'm not going to be able to keep playing, so I guess I just sort of what a "Post-mordem" to help me stay away from Battlecrack

Meh. I get extreme anxiety in the moments leading up to logging in :3

Actualy the only type of ppl who found that balance are the ones who able to open BD in their work because this game need 2 things

1. Be Adult enough ( wise ) -- u can learn by the time but u can't be wise over night
2. Active like hell

So kids who are super active will die fast and experienced players who can't be active at work won't die fast .. but will die at the end

And about Adam ... well no1 can assure he is good leader or not except his mates but from what i saw in his moves and recruits he is talented leader .. the best thing i saw in him that -- when he see som1 have lots of conquers near him ( even he don't have much units ) .. he just think " i need this guy in my alliance " while 90% of ppl think " how can i kill him and get his conquers/crystals "

So i think he is from those few ppl who really care about his alliance ...

I was that obvious? Thanks for the input.

And yeah, the biggest problem was that I was playing from work, and I'm not getting my work done in a timely manner. So you'll probably be seeing less of me. It was great fun.

Hopefully someone will continue the OIL alliance name in future servers/eras.
