Still the same board, still the same rules. I want to give a more accurate reflection of what this board is intended to be. Obviously it isnt safe to come here and spam advertisements etc., so I want to save any newer users from confusion.

I think this would be a clever move.
"Spam" is generally a word many people view with negativity at first glance. I can imagine many new users have a quick scan over the sections and assume "spam" isn't worth their time. However an Off-Topic section sounds more like where they might find some conversation.
