I first played BD when I was 10.
It was old BD back then.
First time was on Earth 3 Era 1, I played without goal, without knowing what to do, just for fun.
First time I got conquered... I got happy lol my english back then wasn't good.
Didn't read the guides, didn't take the tips, wanted to learn on my own, discover the game on my own.
I watched the "BIG ONES" play, big ones as Platinum Sage, Odin of Ragnarok, Kain.
Round by round, I climbed the score-board, never got into top 12 alliance, but kept playing, never stopped.
I introduced BD to my friends, only 1 of them played it for more than a week, yes, BD introduced me to my "Best Friend".
When Earth 7 appeared, My friend regrouped a team. We decided to go for the win, we played day and night, at home, at school. I even skipped classes twice. but hopefully I won (I didn't know what boost was) It was top of success for me.
But then, BD "beta" (BD now) came on... and froze our worlds, leaving parts of our hearts frozen within these worlds. We were devastated, and stopped playing Battledawn...
Anyway...Some time later I felt the urge to come back to my home, felt something missing, time to come back to battledawn, in order to remember the times we spent.
I played in Fantasy 2, totally different... I was lost: Metal Mines, Oil Well, new relic system (In old BD it was like a crystal, captured from wreckages) , new production system (no more food.../ different aspects of crystals giving boosts to economy... it gave 1 % boost in old BD, now every 25 gives 1)
Warm up is done. I have asked my father if I can spend the game card I have bought on battledawn he answered yeah why not if you have nothing to do at all the whole journey just go ahead for it.
I've joined TLA (This was the first era they play, era 20) and thankfully Staffy retaught me how to play.

Aye, and the OC was not around back then. And even if he's 13, it wouldn't have been around either. the OC ended in may of 2009.

BD is like drug... I don't knw why i stayed around it... So much... While i played many other games... Atlast .... I came up with the ans... Its .. Bonds we create here...no mttr how its gameplay work... The way i felt connected with my team... Is just out of world.. Xp, ..these guys i will nvr meet face to face in ma lyf.. But they feel like.. By true frnds.... Tht's why i will stick around... Here...
