Situation 1: The drone has energy damage as well as normal damage say it does 10 energy damage and you have 0 then the energy damage will be converted into normal damage.

Situation 2: You are standing on a resistance decrease space.

Resistance decrease spaces set your resistances to 0, these can be annoying sometimes but useful in others.

No energy (or low energy) allows energy-based weapons to convert energy damage to extra hp damage.

For this Example I will use the Call of Lightning. We will assume it does 100 damage and It does -50 Drain.

These situations are purely for understanding Electrical weapons.
Variables:
Electric Resistance/Current Energy/TotalDamage/WeaponDamage/Drain
WeaponDamage is the Damage stated on the Weapon's stats. Our weapon for this test is 100 Damage.
Drain is -50. This targets your enemies energy stats.

Basic Energy damage calculations:
Electric Resistance=10
Current Energy = 150
Damage=(WeaponDamage-ElectricResistance)+[Current Energy - Drain]
[] If Current energy becomes a negative number this number becomes positive and is added to damage. If this is a positive number, it adds 0 damage.
Damage=(100-10)+[150-50]
Damage=(90)+[100]
Damage=(90)+[0]

Example 1:
Electric Resistance=100
Current Energy = 0
Damage= (100-100)+[0-50]
Damage= (0)+[-50]
Damage= 50
BONUS DRAIN DAMAGE IGNORES ENEMIES RESISTANCE!!!

Example 2:
Electric Resistance= -33
Current Energy = 73
Damage= (100- -33)+[73-50]
Damage= (133)+[0]

Example 3:
Electric Resistance =-10
Current Energy=10
Damage =(100- -10)+[10-50]
Damage =(110)+[-40]
Damage =(110)+[40]=150

Heat Damage works differently.
When your opponents heat exceeds 1x their regen + Max Heat, they lose all action points and DRONE DOES NOT fire.

If your opponent has 50 regen and 50 max heat, they will overheat at 101.
There is no bonus damage for overheating your opponent.
