From my experience, you actually receive the awarded items, but when lvlup window pops up on lvls 15, 20, 25, etc, there is no "OK" button which usually closes that window. The only thing you can do is kill the game and log back in.
By then, awarded items will already be in your inventory.
You don't get chests, just 1mythic(lvl15)/1legendary(lvl20)/2legendaries(lvl25)/1mythic(lvl30)



^ This is spot on.

Sorry for the issue guys, we're still pushing this fix to some platforms.

The item still end up in your inventory :)
