...Have you ever actually posted there without getting butchered? I have my doubts.
Any way, no, bad idea. 4chan is the craphole of the internet.
What's the logic people got here?
"Hey guys, let's improve our neighbourhood"
"Any ideas?"
"Let's invite criminals, neo-nazi's, basement dwellers and wannabe's to live here!"
"GENIUS"
Or something like that?
Come on. Let's try to maintain some standards.

However, actively making it worse under the guise of "improvement" doesn't sound like a great idea to me either. If you have a bath of room-temperature water, you want it hot, don't know how thus try throwing ice cubes in it, sorry to say but you're not helping. The whole reason these forums got to a bad point to begin with was brainless, valueless activity that simply wasn't interesting enough to hold a community.

Come on. Let's try to maintain some standards. How about we just try to improve here, and get more in-game players to join the forum? Join an alliance and post something controversial against your enemy. Make some game suggestions, YOU can be the solution without spamming 4chan to get people to come here.

Actually, I couldn't agree more to Jake and Alex. The forum lost activity long before my time here as community manager and no one else than the currently BD players can bring it back.
As I was a player, I came to the forum to see if my enemy wrote something about me and sometimes, I looked at it afraid, that they could have posted about my units that I lost
I don't want to say it was anyones fault that those players, who were here with their heart and soul left, but the system at that time was very different to what we have now. I understand BD as a war game, and every war is a fail of diplomacy and a fight for opportunities and therefor it creates emotions. And this can and should be posted here! Emotions are what makes us play the game after all. We as admins and moderators have to watch those topics and make sure that its within the rules but I am the last one who would over-moderate this.
And as only real emotions can create real topics and not spam - there is no need for any 4chan or other forum guys that don't have a clue what WE are talking about.
BD might be a small family.... but its still a family and I am proud to be part of it and knowing every member and what they are talking about.

So can I deduce from this you will go on a date with the one who brings the most in-game members to this little family? Sounds good.
