I haven't played BD since the new client launched. Figured Id hop on and check things out. Any old client vets out there? Whats the general consensus on old vs. new?

im from age 1 of OC, did a few early NC eras, then quit, again to come back some months ago.

Kinda sad to hear, but times change. I'm not back to playing, I don't have anywhere near enough time to devote to it like I used to. Looking back it practically dominated my free time in high school. It was great. Nothing like having a war on Earth and another war going on in the forums. Looking at all the online games I've played BD is definitely the best. The mix of real time strategy and diplomacy is unmatched to any other free to play MMO out there. And, at least in my day, the admins really cared about the state of the game. Come summer hopefully Ill have the time to hop in and play another round.

Yeah man, I know how you feel. I see you were in a few good alliances back in the day. Lex/Firestart is still lurking around here. We play together every now and then

I see you were in ARM. So you know, playing against ARM was hands down the most fun I had playing the game. The biggest memory of the game I have is was when we invaded Australia (or was it New Zealand you guys were on?). Fun times. I can't remember if it was E1A4 or E1A5. 4 years out of it doesn't help me remember any easier.
