i hear WAW got compensated for nuking their own army in collony attack.
imho
they nuked themselves completly legit. shield was out, their squads ETA3, nuke ETA1, so its all perfectly normal and legit. IF they wanned to dodge their own nuke (of their offline member), they could have returned. Also they could contact their member to cancel nuke strike.
This way, by nuking their attack point (in wrong eta) they could have seen the risk and decide not to do it at all. nuking your troops in collony attack is common thing and all noobs do it. Noone ever got compensated for it, i seen millons of noobs do it.
i dont mind my member got conquered, that come normal in 220 tank squad attack, but injustice of compensation burns me.(for those who will say "look, he cry over lost battle")
i think admin (great guy Andrew) got played by some people for something that is common and it happens for long time back.
1. you want to use nuke in attack choose good ETA
2. if you return, you can avoid own nuke if member offline
3. if you play with fire, you do not get insurance for burning yourself.

play fair
WAW, take it like man!

My member lost 400 population rushing ranged to kill nuked tanks + god knows how manny members sent metal and oil for this to be done.

WAW got rewarded for their **** action. this is WRONG!

They took nuke damage by sending the nuke AND 220 tank squads at the colony. Those squads should not take any nuke damage when attacking a colony cause you don't exactly land.

Get your facts straight.

nuke dmg outgoing squads
you return, you get eta2
you do not return, you get eta3

read some Anarchist69x, and maybe l2p ?

so you want to tell me WAW came across this problem 1st time in history of BD? is this their 1st era ? so... what are we talking about here. They perfectly knew it will happend, but 1st thing they did was contacting admin. we all knew that is goin to happend. and it was funny to watch.

did we expect compensation for loosing entire res of alliance on attack that got compensated? no we dont.

i just think Andrew got cheated

It was a nuke from UWS that hit Capri and damaged the WAW squads coming back from their hit on Capri. Not a WAW nuke. Just thought I would point out that fact.

Edit: It was 40 ranged inf. The cost of rushing 40 ranged inf is 120 workers not 400. Please do not make up facts. Also at his upkeep, 40 ranged inf would cost 13900 metal and about 7000 oil. Sorry that is not a ton of resources your entire alliance had to get together to build those units.

Now we will see if Andrew compensates WAW or not. But from how I saw it, its a bug. Nuke is supposed to damage units that leave an op/colony or are sitting on it. Not damage units returning from an enemy colony especially not from a third party nuke.

What's the whingeing about? WAW came up against a bug, according to the actual rules of the game rather the the rules as you'd have liked them to be in that situation Murija, and were compensated for the loss they withstood.

Your alliance made an error of judgement (according to the actual rules) and benefitted from the bug instead of suffering the consequences.

It's patronising the game admin to believe that WAW somehow hoodwinked him into giving them compensation for no good reason. I'm pretty sure he understands the actual rules of the game and whether the event should have turned out one way or another.

You shouldn't get hurt by a nuke you can't ion. That should be pretty self-evident. I don't see a reason to argue about it because I doubt anyone could provide a solid argument that you should be hurt so severely by something you can't avoid. Features have counters. Ion counters Nuke.

To suggest that we should have simply dodged and there is no excuse for getting hit by the nuke is akin to making the argument that we should remove the ability to ion a nuke entirely. I mean, you can just leave the OP and not be hurt right? Why should we be able to ion a nuke?

Your claim is ridiculous.

they can return

im kinda getting sick of this argument. read rules. rules say nuke hit outgoing troops. thats exactly what happened.
(and how you conquer someone if you do not actually LAND into collony, hmmm?)
i wont post anymore

You are the only one defending against this. But members of the alliance should not be able to hurt eachother. It is a glitch and they should be compensated.
