The title is pretty self-explanatory. Should people be more realistic than idealistic? Like, accepting reality as it is and just living in it 'cause there's nowhere else to live in, or should we strive to make the world a better place no matter what? Oh, hybrids are more than welcome: actually, I'm a hybrid, and I'm pretty sure a lot of us are (I think both of them are equal to each other, but as always, my beliefs are a bit more complex than that). So, without further ado, let's debate!

Idealism with a sense of realism.

Hopes and dreams, they are the miracles of life. They are wat drives us forward, wat made us into today. Without them, we wouldn't have electricity to use, houses to live, cars to drive and lots more.

We have to dream for a better future, and strive towards it. However u have to be realistic to realize wat have to be done in order to take a step towards ur dream.

accept what is.
know what can be.

hybrid for sure.

purity is doomed to fail, hyper realism will result in self defeatism, digging yourself a rut to forever hold yourself despite a shifting world. stagnation will occur refusing a better future, just the nihilistic accepted outcome you deem the present to be.

hyper idealism results in you losing touch with reality, your ideas no longer connect or have a link to viable options in the real world. stagnation will occur not building to a better future, just a specifically lavish one
