you always here people complaining and calling people traitors. they always make it out as if it were unacceptable and against the rules. but betraying is just a tctic. it works well. and if you are good enough you will defeet the ones who betrayed you. so I think wining by betraying should not make the traitors win any less of a win and most importantly I think people should stop COMPLAINING ABOUT IT!

discuss...

Meh i'm pretty neutral on the topic. Reason being: i can easily see both sides.

For Betrayal: Sometimes its the only way your gonna have a chance to win, the rank 1 your current BFF just got out of a war, theyre weak and tired from all those long nights, you know that at full strength they'll kick your butt 99/100 times. What are you gonna do? Sit back and take 2nd? Or go for the gold like you planned on the whole era?

I think the main reason people are so against back stabbing and betrayals is simply a betrayal at the wrong moment can completely ruin the whole era, in which you have just spent hours upon hours and potentially a lot of money as well. That being said, many of those who are betrayed have just invested all of the above and are now watching helpless as everything they worked for is stripped from them.

Personally I don't backstab but i see why others feel the need.

People can do as they want as long as it's within the rules.

Betraying people to gain the upper hand may give you a short term advantage. It may mean the difference between winning or losing an era. But your bad reputation will last for more than one era...

It's your choice if it's worth it or not.

Acceptable.

But when people complain and act like drama queens "I messaged him saying want to b allies at tick 1 and he didn't reply but I assumed so I marked him friendly then at tick 34 he attacked that op over there......... _ __ _ ________ ____"

It's annoying. And the arguments on here get nowhere. Even if someone came on and proved beyond a reasonable doubt that they're right, which happens most of the time, people still argue. Because no one will admit they're a backstabber.

I don't think you should be quick to betray allies, but nothing should come off the table.

I personally don't betray... and I found betrayal unacceptable. However I do see it as a part of the game and although dirty and annoying, part of strategy.

Well, people can join and leve an allaince as they wich you know? They join an allaince they think that they well be good in, but he/she could find out that its a "noobish" allaince, and deside to betrey them because he/she knows that he/she is better then them.

Another case could be That an allaince is at its "week Point" and one or two people is planing a secret betral on the allaince. and you find out, and you ask them if u can join the party. And they let you...andther betral move.

See where im geting to? ;)

Acceptable or not, I dont know. But inevitable if you and the team you betray are looking for the win.

NAPs are meant to be broken, and there is nothing wrong about attacking another team, even if you have friendly relations.

So totally acceptable.
