Why has the option to upload an image for the an Avatar been removed?

The only option now is to use a url to link off-site and that doesn't work.

For the forum avatars, you can still link to them (like my purple ball is now at imgur)
In-game we don't have a solution for now but we are working on it.

if they are worried about being competiton for tinypic and the other two (tinypic is better) then that just shows that bd is very succesful. dont they want this?

we all know there are lots of ppl who have lots of accounts, one for each worlds, and each of those accounts has an avatar.

to way, because we know everyone plays by the rules, that would never do that............... but they are working on something to fix it so we can have them back.

Sorry guys, but still cannot get Avatar to work, even from one of your outside links.

Hope you can find solution soon.
